Why choose us

Driver knowledge of Safety and P&D Operations at the start of their tenure is critical to running a successful business.  As small business owners, dedicating time and resources to a quality driver training program can be challenging.  Being Contractors ourselves, we created this Training Program to give other Contractors a high-quality, cost-effective, and easy-to-manage means of delivering driver training to new delivery drivers.  The program has also proven effective in adding to the knowledge/skillset of more experienced drivers.

Current Content Covering All Aspects of Being a P&D Driver

The program includes up-to-date content covering Safety, Pick-up and Delivery processes, Customer Service, package handling and care, communication protocols, security protocols, ethical decision-making, and personal safety.

Delivered in an Interactive Format

The Training Program is delivered in an engaging and interactive format to keep the driver focused.  Drivers can view the program on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone.  Initial set-up takes only minutes; send us the drivers’ names and email addresses.

Driver Assessments and Certificates

Assessments are conducted for each lesson, and a comprehensive assessment is included at the end. Upon completion, each driver earns a certificate that can be shared with the Contractor as validation that they have completed the course.

Cost Effective Programs

The founders of Kiros Academy are Contractors; we understand the importance of costs and value. The program was developed and priced to be of the highest quality, available at a compelling price.

The Need for P&D Driver Training

In the competitive delivery industry, the need for comprehensive driver training and a relentless focus on safety has never been more evident.  Several critical factors underscore the importance of this need:

Business Partner Expectations

The expectations of our business partners continue to become more demanding:
  • Safety Scores
  • Pick-up Metrics
  • Delivery Metrics
  • Customer Service Scores
  • Medals Program

Failure to meet these expectations can lead to loss of contract.  The Kiros Driver Training Program supports your drivers in having the proper tools and knowledge to perform well in all operational aspects of your business.

High Costs of Accidents and General Liabilities

Accidents result in vehicle and property repair costs, vehicle outages, injuries, and potential contract loss for the Contractor.  The Kiros Training Program will equip your drivers with the knowledge and skills to navigate safely and reduce accidents and property damage.

Driver Turnover Costs

Driver turnover results in higher training costs, more accidents, and lower productivity.  By giving drivers the tools they need to be successful, confidence and performance are improved, and these costs are reduced.

“Quality driver training is extremely important in building and maintaining a successful business. Two significant parts to that are a good knowledge of the basics and a consistent message across drivers. Being sure that all drivers get the same foundation at the onset can cut down on early mistakes and the formation of bad habits. That’s what this training will provide for your drivers.

I was once told by a coach when I started playing sports at an early age, that you need to master the fundamentals before trying to do the fancy stuff. If you do that, when you’re having a bad game, you can always fall back on your fundamentals to get you out of a slump. In the same way, it’s important to give drivers the fundamentals so they have something to fall back on if and when they’re struggling."
